Well folks, we are only around a month away from the 2022 Oklahoma Bigfoot Symposium on March 12th-13th, at CC Camp in Stilwell, OK. We had to cancel last year because of Covid concerns, but this year is promising to make up for that.
Our main speaker will be Ken Gerhard, noted Cryptozoology author and TV personality. You may have seen him on any number of TV shows concerning Bigfoot, Loch Ness and more creatures.
The other speakers include Steven James, radio host and Bigfoot researcher, Jim Whitehead, Carl Hartline, and special guest speaker will be Bigfoot himself. That’s right, we managed to drag Bigfoot in from the woods to do a presentation, we’re sure everyone will enjoy it.
And if weather permits (no rain), a bounce house will be on-site for the kids to wear themselves out with as well as going on nature hikes throughout the day with MABRC researchers. The bounce house will be 7 dollars a child per wristband on Saturday to jump all day, and on Sunday it will be 5 dollars a child per wristband. Adults you can send the kids out to the bounce house while you can enjoy listening to the presentations and talk to the researchers.
Vendors will be onsite selling a large variety of wares throughout the weekend as well as concessions on-site where you can get great food and listen to great presentations.
The doors open at 8 AM on the 12th, with presentations starting at 9 AM, and go until we run out of things to talk about. The 13th, the doors will open at 10 AM and presentations will start at 10:30 AM. And the end of the symposium will be around 4 PM that day.
Night hikes with the researchers will be conducted, weather permitting, and camp fires will be available for folks to sit around and visit with the researchers in the evenings.
Admission to the presentations is $10 an adult, children under 15 free when accompanied by an adult paid admission. Come join the fun and learn about Bigfoot, and if you have had a sighting, the MABRC researchers will be onsite to take your sighting report and interview you.
Hope to see you all there.
