In the Shadows – The Big Five-0 - Article 50

Wow folks, the 50th article I’ve written, and I hope that at least the majority of my articles have been great reads.  While I have more than enough material to write 500 articles, sometimes it’s hard to decide what to write about.

I had a lot of ideas for the 50th article, but today as I started to write this article, something popped up on our radar that superseded what I was going to write about.

The problem that happened was someone in Texas had been doing Bigfoot Expeditions for $500 a person, for a weekend, and accusations were made that on canceled expeditions, that person would not refund the money.  Those that did attend, were usually left in the woods by themselves, and the guide would sometimes not even come back to check on them at the end of the expedition.

There are many individuals and groups that are doing Bigfoot Expeditions for a fee, and for the most part, claims of guaranteed Bigfoot activity is promised, and evidence to be found.  The paid expeditions being done around Honobia, is 300-500 dollars for a weekend expedition and the person doing these expeditions has been caught manufacturing evidence for people to find down there, and even throwing rocks at attendees’ tents at night to make them think a Bigfoot was throwing them.

Folks, the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center has never charged anything to go on an expedition with us, outside of you having to bring your own camping gear, food and water.  Our researchers supply their own equipment too, and one thing that we don’t do, is guarantee you Bigfoot activity, no one can promise you that.  I’ve been on expeditions for nearly a year before we have activity on an expedition.  I’ve talked about before in other articles, credible researchers may go out in the woods 100 times with nothing happening, before that 101 time when everything breaks lose and evidence is obtained.  It’s not that they are bad researchers, they just don’t claim that everything is Bigfoot making noises in the woods.

Don’t pay to go on a Bigfoot Expedition, and even ones that are free be aware of those that make extraordinary claims about what you will experience.

During the Oklahoma Bigfoot Symposium being held March 12th-13th, 2022 at CC Camp south of Stilwell, you can talk to the MABRC researchers and you may get invited to come out to the researchers’ camp during the symposium.  They won’t guarantee anything outside of getting to hang out with the researchers and talk Bigfoot with them.
