Having been in the Bigfoot Community for as long as I have, I’ve had to watch quite a few friends who have passed away without ever getting to see a Bigfoot for themselves.
I attended a funeral this last weekend for a friend who I had spent so much time in the field with, that he was like an older brother to me and to my family. He had never got to see a Bigfoot for himself, and as I sit there thinking about all the memories we shared in the woods with another older “brother” researcher, we both wished that he had gotten to see a Bigfoot.
René Dahinden, a famous Bigfoot Researcher who was born in Switzerland and upon moving to Canada, devoted his whole life into finding Bigfoot. For nearly 50 years, he trampled through the Northern woods of the North American Continent, searching for the elusive beast.
While he was involved in many expeditions and investigations, he never personally encountered a Bigfoot. So while my friend may not have gotten to see a Bigfoot, it’s not rare that most researchers will never get to encounter a Bigfoot, or even get a glimpse of one.
Unfortunately, due to television shows, the public believe that you simply just go out in the woods and you will encounter a Bigfoot. That is so misleading, as you have to learn the behaviors and more about Bigfoot, and even then, that doesn’t guarantee you success at seeing one.
I recently saw on social media where a guy asked to see better evidence, including getting to see one, there were several people who claim that Bigfoot appears to them, offered to show the guy a Bigfoot for a fee. Don’t fall for this type of claims folks, no one can guarantee you to see a Bigfoot, they are just taking your money.
One such endeavor saw an individual in Texas, selling slots on expeditions for $1,000 per person, and once people sent their money to the guy, who was guaranteeing sightings and more, he simply began giving them the runaround and never followed through.
While my friend who passed away never got to see a Bigfoot, I hope that from his vantage point now, he’s drinking a beer and looking down at the Bigfoot in the woods and enjoying getting to see them finally.
