In the Shadows – More Jurassic Park Encounters Article 43

Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center researchers have had more encounters at the location known as Jurassic Park, and this continues to be a favorite spot to research at when time permits.

One of the sightings happened to have occurred when my wife and I was showing a brother and sister who was becoming interested in Bigfooting the research area, it was pitch black that night, no moon at all, when the headlights of the vehicle illuminated the eyes of several deer off the road.

Stopping to allow the siblings to see the deer, it became obvious the back behind the eyeshine of the deer, perhaps about 75 feet, was the eyeshine from two “creatures” at a height of around 7 feet off the ground.  They were moving slowly towards the deer, and it was speculated that if it was Bigfoot or another large predator, they were sneaking up on the deer to ambush them while the deer was paying attention to us on the road.

As the “creatures” got nearly close enough, the deer bolted directly in front of our vehicle, traveling across the road and disappearing.  Several howls of anger emanated from the “creatures” as the eyeshine turned away and disappeared back into the darkness.

Another sighting occurred when my wife and I was driving through the area after a snowstorm had passed through, with the intentions of looking for any tracks along the sides of the road.  We had taken our sidekick Izzy with us, who was fast asleep in his car seat, along with the wife’s brother and his wife.

As we came down the hillside where the ranger station for the area was located, and being at nighttime, the lights around the rear of the building had illuminated a large black figure standing on two legs that its head was about the height of the roof eave.  Clearly it was at least 7 feet or more, and as it saw the headlights from our vehicle coming down the road, it attempted to slink off towards the hill behind the station where the woods would offer it some concealment.  That’s when the sister-in-law announced excitedly that there was another large bipedal creature standing on the hillside where the first one was headed.  Stopping the vehicle where we could get a decent look at the two creatures, the one who had been at the station walked briskly to the second one, and they proceeded to walk up the side of the hill and off into the woods.

As we sat there discussing what we had just seen, a distant vocalization emanated from the hillside where the two had disappeared up.  Perhaps just a parting snub at us for interrupting their fun that night.

The fact that there had been four witnesses to this event and the one before that, adds to the credibility of the encounter, in that multiple people saw the eyeshine and the creatures.
